Malga Palabione – Malga Magnolta path

The Palabione gondola takes you up to 1700 metres (you can also reach the start of the path walking along paths 327 and 337). The path starts in front of Ristoro Pasò and heads west. You'll go past a small stretch of water, initially along a dirt road. Go past a stream and the road will head left; the start of the path is on your right. It steadily climbs amid larches and firs, leading towards Malga Magnolta.

Malga Magnolta – Lago Palabione – Monte Filone path

From Aprica take the Magnolta gondola. The start of the path is right in front of where you alight. Initially it follows the dirt road which passes adjacent to the sport fishing lake, up to the Agriturismo Malga Magnolta. Here, the path heads east; just past the agritourism you'll find the first themed illustrated boards with interesting facts on wood and its multiple uses. Continue on the "Gran via del Gallo" crossing (winter slopes linking Magnolta and Palabione ski areas); keep right and the path will softly slant upwards, along the ski slope.

Valentina Path

Start from Piazza delle sei contrade, go down Corso Roma eastwards, up to the junction leading to the church of SS. Pietro e Paolo and the Sanctuary of Maria Ausiliatrice. Go up Via Panoramica and just past the sanctuary you'll find the start of the path on your right.

Bosco Gentile Path

A simple walk to get to know Aprica. Start from the Aprica Infopoint, go down Corso Roma until the town square, named in honour of the sculptor Mario Negri. You'll find his statue "Il Sole-Gruppo di Famiglia" next to the main entrance of the Town Hall.
