For some, skiing 8 to 5 just isn't enough. Or perhaps they can't make it because they are at work, at the office, or others simply prefer skiing at night. Baradello, in the Aprica&Corteno ski area, is the perfect solution, as all 6 km of the Superpanoramica are illuminated by night, making it Europe's longest illuminated slope.

Accessible for alpine skiing, so even when the ski lift is open, or illuminated for ski mountaineering and snowshoeing only, it will delight visitors who just can't get enough of snow and skiing.

You don't necessarily have to do sports to enjoy the mountains and its distinguishing element, the snow. A short walk as the snow falls, silencing the surrounding world, is an experience not to be missed. And why not delight your inner child by building a snowman in one of the free areas around the town or close to the arrival point of the gondola?
