Pronti? Via!

B.05 Aprica Tour

A perfect tour for exploring the area around Aprica, surrounded by nature. From the centre, head towards the Campetti area along the uphill stretch up Via Ospitale, until the fitness trail. From here follow the dirt road until Corna spot, where the descent towards contrada Liscidini begins. The road climbs through contrada S. Maria, characterised by wall paintings; the tour ends when you return to the town. The itinerary can also be completed in the opposite direction.

B.04 Val Belviso Tour

An itinerary along the long and narrow Val Belviso, dominated by the silhouette of the imposing Monte Torena. From Aprica descend to Ponte di Ganda, which marks the start of the ascent towards the Val Belviso dam. This is an all-road itinerary, partly paved and partly dirt, with gradients sometimes reaching 15%. Upon reaching the height of the dam, the road flattens out and the huge lake appears in all its magnificence, set in conifer woods. Continue along the path that runs alongside the lake, to the tip of Lago Belviso.

B.02 TOUR Corteno

A beautiful, ultra-panoramic tour, even for beginners. Go up the paved road leading to Pian di Gembro, bear right just past the picnic area, along a short and rather steep stretch of dirt road. Continue right on the paved road. After a short downhill stretch, turn left at the first junction. The ascent is challenging, with an initial stretch of 300 metres or so, with a gradient of around 20%, followed by less challenging slopes.

B.03 Carona - Caronella Tour

A highly characteristic tour, a journey into the past… The first part takes you along the dirt road from the Ganda dam, until Luscio, a highly suggestive stretch where you can still see the remains of accommodation used by house workers during the dam's construction.

From Malga Magnolta to the CAI Valtellina Refuge, path number 341 is called “Il legno è vita” and different boards with descriptive panels have been positioned along the route, illustrating the importance of wood, with lots of interesting facts on its uses. Inaugurated in August 2004, in 2016 the path was adopted by Aprica primary school pupils, as part of the "School adopts a monument" project.

The “Monte della Croce” historic-military theme path

The path starts in Pian di Gembro, in front of the agritourism La Quercia Antica. This route of historic-military interest dates back to the First World War, is easy to complete and thoroughly documented by a series of explanatory panels. It was part of the Cadorna Line, for the defence of national borders, in the event of an Austrian assault.
