Stracorteno
A ring through the main hamlets of Corteno. From Piazza Venturini head westwards to the main road of the village, up to a wayside shrine, then bear left up to the hamlet of Piazza. Here take the uphill road all the way up to the junction for Sant'Antonio. Keep left until you come to the junction for Les, with a wayside shrine. Go left along the paved road, up to Sant'Antonio. Go back to Les and at the shrine continue straight on to the sawmill. Cross the state road then take the first road on your right; past the first houses the path soon leads to the hamlet of Galleno. Go along the road as far as the football pitch, keep left, past all the houses. Continue straight until the hamlet of Botola and turn right into a path leading through some fields. Continue straight along the path until the first lodges of the hamlet of Ronco, then bear left and take the uphill road. Keep right at the church in Doverio and start the descent towards Megno and then Lombro. At the wayside shrine in Lombro you'll cross the bridge over the Ogliolo river. At the bottom you'll come to a junction: bear left. Turn left at the next crossing, into a dirt road, until the hamlet of Santicolo. From here continue west towards Corteno Golgi.
