The theme religious path "Beatified Pier Giorgio Frassati"
Italy's CAI has embraced the "Sentieri Frassati d'Italia" initiative with the aim of creating a path dedicated to the young beatified mountaineer and enlightened soul, from Turin. From the hamlet of Sant'Antonio the route climbs up to Savrone along an ancient path, then to Premalt, before reaching the orographic disc close to Zappello dell'Asino, at an altitude of 2000 metres, a magnificent panoramic point overlooking Valtellina and part of the Camonica Valley. The itinerary then descends towards the arrival point of the Baradello ski lift and continues west until the San Carlo chapel, built adjacent to the CAI Valtellina refuge.
