B.04 Val Belviso Tour
An itinerary along the long and narrow Val Belviso, dominated by the silhouette of the imposing Monte Torena. From Aprica descend to Ponte di Ganda, which marks the start of the ascent towards the Val Belviso dam. This is an all-road itinerary, partly paved and partly dirt, with gradients sometimes reaching 15%. Upon reaching the height of the dam, the road flattens out and the huge lake appears in all its magnificence, set in conifer woods. Continue along the path that runs alongside the lake, to the tip of Lago Belviso.
Return along the same route. Pay attention when returning to Aprica: at Ponte di Ganda you'll need to tackle one last uphill stretch, with an elevation difference of 300 metres.
