Ski and Mountain Museum
Aprica is home to a one-of-a-kind museum: the Ski and Mountain Museum. Its history began in 2006 when Elio Negri decided to assemble an amazing collection for sports enthusiasts. Here, you can retrace the evolution of skiing, from the early rudimentary wooden skis to the modern racing skis.
Among the most interesting pieces are a pair of wooden skis from 1890, among the oldest in the world, the skis used by Zeno Colò, an Olympic alpine skiing champion, and many downhill models from the ‘60s and the ‘70s, with their sleek and colorful designs.
In 2023, the museum moved to Corso Roma 150, above the Aprica Infopoint
